A mother first...
While I was painting the cat tutorial the other day, my two-year-old woke up early from her nap. She came downstairs all cranky and fussing. I couldn't make her happy so I sat down on the couch and held her. Well, she instantly fell asleep! I was shocked. None of my children have ever fallen asleep in my arms during the day like that! Oh, I cherished it! Luckily, I had my phone with me so I snapped a couple quick pictures. I knew they were destined to be painted. Here are the pictures from start to finish. I LOVE how it turned out!

What a sweet moment, and so wonderful that you were able to capture it in photo (and paint!). My first baby would ONLY sleep in my arms, and my second rarely does. Nice composition, and my favorite subject, mothers and babies.
